Taco Molino (Fort Mill)

Taco Molino

Located at 1328 Broadcloth St Fort Mill, SC 29715

Located in the Kingsley shopping center this Mexican restaurant IS the place to be. From the moment you walk in you’re greeted by smiling faces (a few who are near and dear to our hearts), pops of color and an inviting atmosphere.

Drink(s) :

Are you a fan of margaritas? Is that even a question? At Taco Molino you will quickly become obsessed with their frozen drink. With rotating seasonal flavors, the drink is the perfect refreshing combination of ice, fruit and tequila. I can promise you this, you won’t want just one.

Appetizer(s) : Chips & Salsa

Yes, we realize chips & salsa isn’t technically an appetizer choice on the menu, but the quantity you will consume might as well be equivalent to one. The tortilla chips are the perfect thin, crispy and light texture. The salsa verde is fresh with the best amount of heat. Combine the two together and you will fill up fast.

…even though it is not pictured, we have also enjoyed the street corn and queso dip.

Entree(s) :

You can’t go wrong when ordering tacos. You can select two or three (out of eight) variations. As pictured (left to right) we ordered the Chicken Tinga, Crispy Fish and Carne Asada tacos.

  • The Chicken Tinga taco is bursting with flavor. The shredded chicken is excellent as its texture is tender and juicy. Topped with the freshest corn pico de gallo and avocado, each bite is perfectly balanced.
  • The Crispy Fish taco may not be your first pick, but it should be. The crispy batter coats the soft fresh fish, combined with the flavorful pineapple Brussel sprouts will leave you wanting more. …. a fan of some serious heat? ‘Make it hellfire’ with their sauce but just remember, a little goes a long way.
  • The Carne Asada taco is a staple choice where you cannot go wrong. The steak is prepared to perfection and is topped with their avocado salsa verde (yes, the same one we’ve already raved about).

Dessert(s) :

Alright, don’t judge us too hard but we drank this course. Yes, the frozen margaritas are THAT good we ordered a second. Of course if your sweet tooth is calling the shots, Taco Molino offers a choice of the traditional Tres Leches cake, Churros and/or Gelato.

The atmosphere :

Taco Molino has so many different inviting areas to enjoy their food and drink. Pull up a chair at the bar, make yourself comfortable in a booth or immerse yourself in the vibrant restaurant by sitting at a center table. To us, those personally aren’t even our top favorites. On a sunny Carolina day, you cannot go wrong sitting outside on their patio (overlooking a corporate pond & park) or taking advantage of their walk up bar that exudes vacation vibes.

….Bonus, are you hosting a party or corporate event? Taco Molino has outdoor covered spaces that can fit the needs of about any large group or party.
